We're pleased to announce that our very own Jon Mort won the 'Best use of Speakeasy' category in this year's Codegeist, Atlassian's plugin development competition.
Jon's entry, JIRA Instant Search, scooped the award for its powerful simplicity, fetching results instantly for advanced JIRA searches. Check out the video above demoing the functionality.
His Speakeasy extension was created in his own time in just a few minutes and adds instant search to JIRA - making it simpler and faster to write JQL. Results are fetched as soon as the JQL is valid providing the same great JIRA issue search, but faster. You can go here to find out more about the plugin and it can be downloaded for free from PAC.
We'd like to congratulate our friend Tobias, at K15T, who won the best overall plugin for his Confluence EPUB exporter, Vioar for his Jitter plugin and Julien for JIRA Hero, who also won.
Thanks to those of you that voted for our plugins!
In case you missed them, here's a summary of all of our plugin development efforts for Codegeist this year.
